The Odyssey Online is a platform for college students to speak their minds through their writing. It publishes weekly and gives these students a taste of what it's like to have a deadline. This was the first platform I wrote for on a weekly basis and it was a good stepping stone into the world of journalism though most of it is opinion based. I learned how to think on the fly, work with editors and other coworkers, and found my journalistic writing style. Like any writing job, it was stressful at first and finding my place proved difficult. But I soon found what subjects interested me the most and was happy with what I was publishing.
