The Alpena News is a publication that's been around for over 100 years in Northeast Michigan. I worked in Northern Michigan from September 2020 starting as an intern to December 2022 ending as a page designer. I also wrote columns, features, and the odd local government story. It was shocking experience as I adjusted to a small town and living on my own for the first time.
