Conventions

The start of cosplay

I started going to conventions in high school when one of my best friends introduced me to the idea. It was a brand new world to me and though I was excited I was also extremely nervous. At my first ever convention, Youmacon, I remember seeing so many people in cosplay, enjoying themselves and creating memories. I vividly remember seeing a Deadpool wearing a sailor scout uniform. I knew then cosplay was something I wanted to dabble in myself. I started cosplaying shortly after by buying some parts of my costumes and making other parts. I've had so much fun and met a ton of people in my years of cosplay and conventions. I can't wait to see what the cosplay community has in store in the future.
